Dolma Himalayan Energy is a UK-based investment platform and developer for renewable energy and battery storage systems in the Hindukush-Himalayan region. DHE will originate renewable energy assets, crowd in climate finance to develop and operate large utility scale projects. The platform will use structured project finance by blending grants, equity, and commercial debt.
The objective of the project was to redesign the website of Dolma Energy previously built in WordPress to latest version of PHP Laravel Framework ensuring a better UI and admin friendly CMS. The past website of Dolma Energy, built in WordPress, had a lot of issues, like some pages were not loading properly, slow and inconsistent, over disk space allocation and more. Therefore, to ensure easier long term support, it was necessary to redesign the entire website with a better CMS to manipulate the content on the website.
Prioritizing to provide better version of the past website, the site was developed focusing on the following sitemap -
Since the website was just a redesign project upgrading the application from Wordpress to Laravel, the content and creative remains the same. So, it only took a total of 6 working hours to complete the entire website. Within the working hour, I was able to develop the frontend of the website, the backend and a powerful CMS to manipulate the semi-dynamic contents of the website.
